Workshops
We regularly run workshops on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion to help students become better allies for marginalised groups.
We also run Active Bystander training throughout the year that covers how students can be active in helping and supporting others when faced with unacceptable behaviours, such as hate incidents, discrimination, sexual harassment, and violence.
All our workshops will be advertised on our events calendar. Got a question or want to get involved? Email us at su.reps@northumbria.ac.uk
Anonymous tool for reporting unacceptable behaviours
The Unacceptable Behaviours Policy and online tool is available for any student to seek support and/or report their concerns if you experience, or witness, unacceptable behaviour. You can also report anonymously.
The unacceptable behaviours policy does not only cover sexual misconduct, but also includes behaviour that undermines, humiliates, threatens, or hurts. This includes bullying, discrimination, domestic violence, harassment, hate incidents, misogyny, abuse and violence, victimisation or violence of any nature. Report here.
