Whilst Programme Reps look after your specific course, our Leadership Reps work across your School and even Faculty to enact positive change. They speak up to make sure Heads of School, Faculty staff and senior university leaders are hearing from students and understand their views and experiences.
We also have a team of three International Students Reps, one from each of the three faculties at Northumbria. These roles are elected/recruited as part of our annual Lead Northumbria Elections.
Every school has a School Rep to represent students on taught programmes within their area. They work with Programme Reps and Academic Societies to celebrate and protect the things that students value, as well as seek change on things that could be improved.
Interested in a becoming a Leadership Rep? Contact su.reps@northumbria.ac.uk. Our recruitment periods are usually either in January, when the nominations for the Lead Northumbria Elections are open, or April/May during our volunteer recruitment period.
